Jan 1, 2006

Cheers and best wishes for this next year. I am not a big one for making New Year's Resolutions as I never seem to keep them. I do, on the other hand, keep my word. So, perhaps I need to change my resolutions to promises I make myself. I am making 3 personal promises and 3 scrap related promises. I plan to scrap these into the title page for my Book of Me for 2006, thus insuring that one of my promises is kept!

I hope this year is a good one for all of you, my friends. As I get closer to the BIG 60, I find myself thinking more and more about the contributions my friends and family make to my life and how much easier my life is to lead thanks to all of you.

Blessings and best of the best to you all.

Happy New Year Doll! I'm with you on feeling appreciative of those who add so much richness to my life. You are right at the top of my list along with the rest of the Cabana Crew. WE NEED A REUNION!!!

Can't wait to open presents with you to launch this new year with the logical (as opposed to virtual) reality that the gift of friends is another list-topper. Am I making sense? Gee, and I haven't even had a drink yet...

Love you!

What a great idea - making promises to yourself. I have an idea that I need to do that too, that way my resolution can be far more managable. Hope your promises are made, kept and enjoyed.

Happy New Year, and here's to keeping all the promises we make to ourselves as well as those we make to others. I agree about friends being such a big part of what makes our lives so rich. I was writing in my new calendars and of course, the cruise is in there and I can't wait to see you and the others in April!

Sorry I'm late getting to your post - I forget you post now and again, lol (since it's so seldom). LOVE the NY pic of you - need to get that on my bulletin board.
Good luck with your list of promises. I hope they include spending more time with me!
Love ya! kath
