Plenty of parking at the beach...

Another cold and blustery day here in Paradise. Fortunately, our friends, Chuck and Linda, remain optimistic and seem to be having a good time with us. Yesterday, I gave them the fifty cent tour of Tarpon Springs which takes 3 minutes longer than the quarter tour. We went to both beaches and got a few rays of sunlight (see Linda soaking up the sun below...lol) and spent the remainder of the time roaming the sponge docks.

We found the cutest little shop on one of the side streets with the most amazing soft clothing I've ever felt. It is locally owned and called Sponge Divers' Supply. I got Kristen a darling long top and will go back to get a couple of tee shirts for myself...love the fabric and love the designs. The owner says his wife has them on facebook so I shall have to become a fan...'cause I am. Small businesses that sell quality products at reasonable prices (and these are) deserve to have their companies promoted everywhere!

We are off to Toula's on the Trail for breakfast and then I'll take our company to Safety Harbor for the day. I love walking the trails at the park there, the Indian Mound and the cute downtown. Hoping the weather warms enough to have lunch at the Whistle Stop Cafe as I am going through some serious fried green tomato withdrawal.

Hope everyone has a great day.
