I had thought that E had been to Disney back in the mid 60s but was mistaken. This was his first trip to the wonderful world and he loved it. We stayed just down the way from Bob and Janet Miller, their daughter, her boyfriend and the Miller's grandson and the amenities of the resort were wonderful. I've stayed at the Polynesian (years ago), the Contemporary when the the kids were little, Wilderness Lodge with Janet, Clare and Anne and now this one. So far, the Wilderness Lodge is still my favorite but perhaps that was because we had such fun!
Our resort had a Spanish theme and the Pepper Market (the casual dining restaurant) had a very tasty selection of food from which to select. We all had lunch there on Friday before we headed to the Magic Kingdom.
I loved all the fountains and the detail work in the architecture of our resort and how pretty it all looked at night with the lights reflecting off the water in the lake.
Next stop: the Magic Kingdom

Sounds like a great hotel. I'm sure you both had a great time at the parks.
