Sing along if you know the song! Our water levels are way down. Today's news said our town got 14 1/2 inches over the past couple of day. Only Brooksville got more. Part of the reason the water has receded here is that the Anclote River spilled over its banks further up in Elfers displacing many residents there . So sad.
The news is also saying this is the worst beach erosion since 1995. When our beach here opens back up (which should be soon) I'm going to head that way to walk. Meanwhile, the sun is out, the breezes tropically balmy and we are all drying out.
