The Women Who Do Lunch Bunch' Christmas Luncheon

We met at the Veranda today about eleven.  We fully intended to eat on the top deck of the Grille (aka, the Veranda) but it was over cast and blustery.  Little Di and I were the first so had a bloody Mary while we waited the others.  The view from the Veranda is amazing.

We were missing our beloved Cynthia today.  Our thoughts and hearts have been with her in the loss of her husband, Don.  Know we are thinking of you and will see you soon to give you our love in person.

Our view inside was wonderful as there was not just one but two osprey nest close at hand.
Our food was beautifully prepared, the prices reasonable and the waiter...ooh la la!  He had the most delightful sense of humor.  And our temptation of the day....no, not the cutie waiter, Gene, but the array of sweet treats he had to offer.

We shared the lemon and raspberry delight.  Good thing I weighed in at WW BEFORE we went to lunch.  I made goal for the 6th. month is a row and won an amazing cookbook to boot!

(Janet Miller, Ms Jacque is training for your job! lol)

And then it was off to Architectural Salvage/Tampa Bay Salvage.  While Little Diane has been there, Jacque and Di had not so we all strolled through the shop and delighted in the array.  I want to do a separate blog post on that so will put it up later this evening.

Happy Holidays to one and all.
