A is for Antigua

Our second island stop was beautiful Antigua.

We had another glorious day exploring with our private guide.  We went to the tops of mountains, saw where a couple of movie stars were developing real estate, visited the remains of a fort and had a wonderful afternoon respite.

We did a bit of shopping in the down town area in between drives to the tops of mountains and the beautiful beaches.

E took a short rest while I explored the ruined fort.

We both agree that our favorite part of the day was our hour long visit to Nelson's Boatyard.  The area is being fixed up and restored and, after we had a light lunch, I walked around this amazing place.

Before we got back on the ship, we walked a bit and snacked at a corner outdoor restaurant.  We drank local beer no matter what island.
When Obama was elected President (not sure which time), Antigua renamed their highest peak after him.

Our next stop is St. Lucia

You have a great eye for architectural photos. Good angles.
