Things in perspective....

two friends of mine lost a relative today...a young child and that has made me think. My daughter and her husband are trying so very hard to have a child and my sister is recovering from lung cancer, I lost my 4 favorite relatives in 5 years...so, here is my Declaration of Independence:

I am 62 years old and old enough to know better! If I want that 'extra' glass of wine, deal with it ! If you don't like what I write on my blog or on a mb...don't read it. Do not email me or pm me with your assesssments of my inadequacies. I know my faults and reminders are redundant.

I declare today henceforth a "do not bully me" life. I am a people pleaser but my wise and always honest E has said...just tell____________ to F off and get a life.

I will not tolerate crudstrictive crapicism (as one pal of mine calls it). If you have an issue with me, email me or get over it. You have the ability to not read what I write. I am done with emails that start, "I thought you were a better person"

Deal with it...I am human and prone to error but am so very tired of being reminded of my faults....didn't someone once say something about glass houses and he who is w/o sin? hmmmmmm

So, this is my Declaration of Independence and if it offends you...so be it! I am too old to make nice anymore. I have far too few days left to make you happy... my kids, my honey and the ones (you know who you are)who know who I am and love me still are the only ones I care about....all else will go to spam!

Have a great night...over and out!

Wow! Way to go! I can't believe people who send you that kind of email crap! Sheezzz... I, too, love your outlook...tell them to buzz off, or better yet, just plain ignore 'em! That'll drive a 'bully' crazy! lol

Life is way too short. Priorities have always been and should always be your kids, you dh, and your family.

That's the right attitude....E is right, and life is just to dang short to fret over things like that!!

Love your Declaration of Independence. I think we should all do that. I don't know why some people feel they have the right to judge others. We are all on our own journey and we all need to do it our own way. Sending you a hug Smoochie Girl and hope to see you soon.
