Cao Yong's paintings of Venice

We have temporarily located this painting over our small table in the hall to our bedroom. It needs better lighting and to be hung higher but in the midst of holiday decorating, this will have to wait. Yong does such rich colors and paints in such wonderful details. There are amazing expressons on the faces of the people, the water ripples are so vividly portrayed that I am waiting for the sound of them slapping against the boats and the quays. I love this artist.

It looks great but I bet it is more stunning in reality. How lovely to have the opportunity to see such a scene every day. It will always make you smile with fond memories. Good buy!

Hi Jules---Your painting is beautiful. I love the richness in colors and I bet it is a beauty to look at everyday.

I hope you had fun playing tourist. I looked at your other photos and I really love the sandcastle one. We have a gentleman here that makes sandcastles that are out of this world. I'll have to dig out my photos and post them for you.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Hugs
Nancy
