One week closer to Santa's visit

Last year for Christmas, my father gave me the usual gift of a check. Its a bit impersonal but it works. My honey and I had just started collecting the glass blown and hand painted ornaments made in Germany for our tree. We only collect ones of vintage Santas and the store where normally get these did not have any new ones. On a whim, I took my cash and went to SFAvenue which has a store here at my favorite outdoor mall. Low and behold, there was this lovely and very large Santa calling to me clear across the store.
And he was on sale for half price, exactly what my check from Dad was for. He is very content hanging from our tree. See his smile!

Who wouldn't be content hanging on your tree? Okay, well, Dooley for one, LOL. Your Santa is a stunner, so glad he called your name and that you heard him!

I love the hand blown glass ornaments. I give each of my kids an Old World ornament each year in their stockings. They're all grown now and still love getting them. My DD especially loves them. They have a 9' tree and it is covered with them in all different themes. It is worth the price you pay for the ones from Germany.

Jules, I am enjoying seeing your decorations this year. Hope to see more!

Hi Jules...he's cute...my mother just retired from SFA a couple of weeks ago. She use to bring home a bunch of different things from there that was so cool. We have an outlet here to and it's open to the public. The prices are so much cheaper than what one would pay in the regular stores. I'll have to keep a look out for you to see if I can find some new ones and I'll let you know.

Hope you have a great week...

Hugs
Nancy
