Beautiful fall weather in Paradise

The Challenge is on....Outlaw Artists are up and running. Come join us for fun, creativity and something a bit out of the ordinary. All welcome.

We were able to eat supper out on the lanai last night and wanted you to see what a lovely evening we had. We put jazz on the outdoor speakers, filled our glasses with a nice merlot and dined al fresco. The no see-ums were at a minimum and our food was divine, of course.

We ended up taking Jack to the emergency vet where Goofy ended up over the 4th. of July. The woman, Dr. Stanton, told Jack how handsome he was (he truly never tires of hearing this) and won his heart. We had to leave him and the fact we have not heard anything is good news. This vet is wonderful and does not hesitate to call if there is a problem. She was a bit concerned about a stone causing the blockage but that does not seem to be the case as we have not heard from her and she said she'd call if that was the problem. We'll probably end up picking him up tomorrow morning early. If he has the same valium cocktail Goofy had, he'll be woozy for a bit.

Shopping and lunch with Norma was a delight as always. My friend has lost about 60 lbs. and looks wonderful...not that she did not before but WOW, Norma! Her daughter is opening a scrapbook store in Louisiana and is getting very excited as is Norma who is the CFO for the company. Norma shared some of the wonderful things the two of them have ordered and the store is going to be a smash hit. Her store will be called Simply Scrapbooking Boutique and you can click on the link in the list of "check it out" to the left to see some of the goodies she'll be carrying.
Norma's daughter went to college in Ft. Myers at Florida Gulf Coast U and Norma and I met on the CKMB back in the 'good ol' days'.

I picked up a couple of things at Ruban today and one I can't wait to try out....Sepia Accents by Inkssentials which is a division of Ranger Inks...these look amazing. Got to chat a bit with my pal, Maria at RR. She is one of my favorites there. She is so friendly and cute and always does a great job with customer service. She loves her job and it shows....way to go Pal!

Care to join me on the lanai for a pre dinner drink? We're having ribs around 5:30....I'll post a pic of those later. Bet I can make you droll on your keyboard!

Have a good one.

Oh poor kitty! Hope he doesn'r need a lot of treatment. Oh and I want your house right about now and your climate. Your lanai and pool area looks divine. We just took our chairs and put them in the garage for the winter. And we are getting a tropical storm that you didn't get, or I don't think you did anyway, Tropical Storm Noel. Which is why we put the chairs away really. Hope E is recovering well from his procedure and feeling better.
