A Gathering of Goddesses

Anne and I saw the perfect tee shirts for our gals get together this weekend but the store only had two of them. The tee had a drawing of four wild women on the front and around the picture was a sentence about shopping, laughing, walking arm in arm on the beach...perfect words to describe what the four of us are going to be doing this weekend. And it ended with "...a gathering of Goddesses". Perhaps the Cabana Boy Club gals are growing up?...nah, we are just growing older! lol

I promise I will have pictures of some of our adventures (and we've all only been here since 4ish yesterday afternoon!)but my memory card with all the incriminating evidence is clear downstairs. The others are still asleep and I don't want to disturb them. As soon as I hear someone moving about, I'll get the card and upload some of the pics to here.

I have always needed my friends about me...for care, for reassurance that life is really as good as I believe it to be, for fun and frivolity and for witty conversation. The four of us (Anne, Kip, Janet and I) go way back in time in terms of our friendships and we have not had this opportunity to laugh our asses off together for over two years. Janet and I attended Anne's wedding, Janet and Anne have gotten together a couple of times, Janet has visited us in Tarpon Springs and Kip and I see each other all the time...but, the four of us in hugging distance of each other...it has been far too long.

so...I give you "A Gathering of Goddesses" w/o any hesitation or qualms!
