Happy New Year's

What a great way to start a new year. E fixed Banana's Foster French Toast to kick start our day. As usual, he fixed enough for the Russian army and us so not sure I'll want to eat again until tonight!

Our camellia bush is in bloom. The buds are just starting to open. I had assumed the bush had died since the buds had been there for a long time with no signs of opening and then, just the last couple of days...bam! So beautiful!

We have all the lights down in front, the tree down and are working on clearing all the things we have been piling up on the dining room table and putting them back into their boxes for another year. While it is always sad to take down all the decos, it will be nice to reclaim our house!

I am off tomorrow for a couple of days of cropping at the lovely little church in Ruskin with several of the Hilltop gals. Looking forward to this mucho! Be home Sunday with lots of pics and hopefully some finished projects.

Chris Pozzi and I did a duet this month for the Tech at KnK. If you are not a member, you should be. We're working with chipboard and all sorts of fun things you can do with it. (contact Gerri-anne Duke, owner, at admin@knkclub.com for more information on joining the mb and the kit club).

Have a great day!
