Schmidt's room sign

It has become a tradition in our new house for those who stay in what Kip calls her room and what we call the guest room to make a sign that says, "So and So's Room". We do this to pimp Kip who revels in this, of course.

Now I have been trying to get DeeDee to swing to the dark side of crafting and start scrap booking. She says she is a remedial scrapper but took to working on her sign like a duck to water. She came up with a cute idea and decided she wanted hers to be the biggest sign of the collection to date and thus it is! And a cute sign too. She even had me take her to Ruban Rouge to get some papers. Now if that isn't a baptism by fire, I don't know what is.

We did Dunedin and a part of old Palm Harbor yesterday. While we girls shopped the cute boutiques in down town Dunedin, the guys got the scoop on St. Pat's and Mardi Gras celebrations from a friendly barkeep at Flannigan's Pub. We have really missed attending the Mardi Gras fun in Soulard since we have moved and nothing beats St. Pat's, the parade, and the fun in Dog Town in St. Louis but maybe these fun events in Dunedin can lessen our longing just a bit.

We're off to the Port of Tampa today to explore and see what the area has to offer....hope we don't freeze our knees. It was a two cat night last night and E got up about 4 am to turn on the furnace...welcome to Paradise? lol

Stay warm! Tell DeeDee she is an awesome scrapper! No remedial there. If you took her to RR and she is not a scrapper, you have spoiled her for any other scrap store she may walk into after this. There is no comparison!
Have fun!

It was a 3 cat night for us here, the last few nights. That almost never happens. That's what you get for having a king-size bed!
