Last day...back to Barcleona

I am posting tonight because I have blood work appointment at 7:30 am, we want to get in a bike ride and I have Weight Watchers at ten. And I want to leave you with our last full day in Barcelona.

We were off the boat and to our hotel which was right across the street from our first boutique hotel our first night in Barcelona. Jo outdid herself again. This one was also elegant, lovely and just what the dr. ordered. The bathroom alone was bigger than mine at home. And the balcony...straight out of Romeo and Juliet!

So we checked our bags, grabbed our honeys and headed out to see a few things we missed on our first day and a half in this lovely town. We headed first to de la Sagrada Familia, a huge cathedral that has been in the making for hundreds of years. The Pope is coming to town this next year to give a mass and consecrate it. The edifice covers a full city block. And both Jo and I got some great detail pics before the tour buses pulled up.

The guys were tired so they headed back to see if we could check in yet and Jo and I took off on an adventure. It was Sunday and many of the main stores were closed and those in the Gothic area were just opening but we stumbled upon several wonderful things: two women playing zithers and such sweet music they were making, a symphony orchestra playing to raise funds for a church/museum and Greeks folk dancing to the music, mimes,a small Dali exhibit and we even found our elusive bull charms to complete our bracelets.

Jo and Bill suggested Happy Grill for supper and we got to experience first hand the Spanish/Italian soccer rivalry. It was a sports bar with wonderful food, fun people and ...us! We headed back towards the hotel and we went to sleep to the sound of the street, the people and the music of Spain. i can hear it still.

I have completed the first two layouts of my Med. album and they will go live at A Cherry on Top this Wed. So watch there or here for them. and, of course, thanks.

Tomorrow we sit for the boys from 5-7pm while Little Mama takes a workshop and Big Daddy goes to class and then home for company and Wed. it is off to Posh Scraps to crop with the gals.

I'm looking forward to seeing your LOs of your cruise. Vacation albums are the projects I scrap most, so I'm looking for new inspiration!
