Happy Fat Tuesday. We are heading to Mardi Gras in Dunedin tonight to have some Cajun food, drink a hurricane or two and watch the parade. We're starting from our house meeting up with friends and then on to the event. We've gone every year since we first moved here and each time, we've had more and more fun. We'll meet up with my son and some of his friends in Dunedin. Pictures to follow tomorrow.
Meanwhile, our friend Kim, who got a job promotion even before she started work with her new company, is spending the evening here at the house, holding down the fort. We invited her to attend Mardi Gras with us but she has meeting all day today and tomorrow so took a pass. Can't wait til Kim moves closer which, I believe, is this weekend.
Lots of fun things going on at Posh Scraps in Palm Harbor over the next few weeks. This coming Sat. I am leading the first of a series of 8 workshops on various paper art techniques. This week's workshop is on embossing both wet and dry along with flocking on various papers such as transparencies, vellum and standard weight papers. Class starts at ten and there are still some vacancies if you live in the area ( you can call the store to reserve your spot for this or for the upcoming garage sale on March 26)727-784-2928.
Have a great FAT TUESDAY!
