Nana/Papa Play day with the grands

Yesterday was our first day back on our regular Nana/Papa play date day with the grands. This was the first time we had all three of them by ourselves and we did quite nicely I might add. lol The boys just turned 19 mo. and Leighton is 10wks. The boys can make their needs known through sign and with some words. Leighton just yells when she needs us like all itty bitties do.

Landon is slimming down and getting taller. He is cutting his back molars and working on filling in the bottom teeth which is not always pleasant. He plays hard and loves to hug and be hugged.

Colvin is gaining weight and getting a bit taller too. His top and bottom teeth are filling in faster than his brother's and he also is working on those nasty molars. He loves attention and is quite the little mimic. He spent the day with just E and I not too long ago and we took a lovely walk almost all the way around our block. Soon, it will be Landon's turn for a little one on one time with us.

And here is the sweetheart of the gang. Leighton is an easy baby. She is holding her head up and staying awake longer and longer. She is very interested in everything that is going on around her. She is not really wild about the bottle and very much prefers mama.

Today is their first day at day care school for all three of them. Hope all goes well. I know the little guys will be glad to see some of their friends.

Our day was fun and went surprisingly smoothly...even though, I am still not sure how Chris does this single handedly two days a week or Kristen on Sat's? My hat is off to them. They are incredible parents.

Hope your week is going well.

One Proud Nana
